ProRail has announced that no trains will run to or from Amsterdam Zuid station on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March. The closure allows crews to carry out essential renovation work as part of the station’s ongoing upgrade.
During the weekend, engineers will work on the signalling systems and a new tunnel for cyclists and pedestrians. While train services are suspended, the station remains accessible via the metro network.
ProRail warns passengers to expect increased travel times. The agency advises travellers to check the journey planner in advance to prepare for these disruptions.
