Rijkswaterstaat has announced a series of extensive maintenance works on the A58 motorway scheduled for March, April, and May 2026. The project will result in the total closure of the route between Tilburg and Eindhoven in the Eindhoven-bound direction during four specific weekends. Motorists should prepare for additional travel times of up to 30 minutes.
The A58 is closed during the following weekends:
- Friday 20 March 21.00 to Monday 23 March 5.00 hrs
- Friday 27 March 21.00 to Monday 30 March 5:00 hrs
- Friday 24 April 21.00 to Monday 27 April 5.00 hrs
- Friday 8 May 21.00 to Monday 11 May 5:00 hrs
Specific closures
- During the first and second weekends, the A58 is closed between Tilburg (De Baars) and Eindhoven (Batadorp) in the Eindhoven direction.
- During the third and fourth weekend, the A58 is closed between the Tilburg junction (De Baars) and the Best exit in the direction of Eindhoven.
The intermediate parking lots, gas stations and entrances and exits are also closed during these weekends.
