Air France has extended its suspension of flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until 31 March. The airline has also suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until 4 April, it said on Monday.
Air France said the security situation at these destinations and the closure of certain airspaces forced the airline to keep its flights suspended.
On Thursday, sister airline KLM said it would stop flying to Dubai and the Saudi cities of Riyadh and Dammam until 17 May. KLM cited the ongoing war in the Middle East as the reason.
Earlier, KLM cancelled flights to these destinations until 28 March, after it judged airspace over countries around the Persian Gulf to be unsafe. The airline said it continues to monitor the situation closely and stays in regular contact with the relevant authorities.
