- The Key Handover (Friday): The mayor symbolically hands over the keys of the city to the City Prince at D’n Schuur, marking the official start of the festivities.
- The Big Parade (Saturday, 14 Feb): The highlight of the weekend. A colourful procession of floats and music groups marches through the city centre starting at 13:11.
