The CBR will suspend all theory and practical exams, interim and driving tests, and courses on Friday. This applies to 8 out of 12 provinces across the country, where code red has been issued. Only in Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, and Zeeland will all exams continue as planned.

In total, the cancellations affect 3,000 theory exams and 2,200 practical exams. Additionally, 200 professional exams, 35 driving tests, and 24 courses are also impacted. According to the CBR, all affected candidates will be able to reschedule free of charge and with priority.

The KNMI has issued a red weather alert for most of the Netherlands on Friday due to extreme heat. Residents are advised to avoid direct sunlight and stay in cool environments as much as possible.
