Eindhoven Airport reports record profit in 2025

Share

Eindhoven Airport posted a record profit last year, supported by a record number of passengers. Net profit rose to 25.2 million euros, up from 23.3 million euros a year earlier. Revenue increased by 4.5 per cent to 100.5 million euros, according to the airport’s annual report published on Tuesday.

Most of the revenue came from airport charges paid by airlines for using the airport’s services. The remaining income was generated by hospitality, shops, parking fees, and advertising.

The number of passengers travelling through Eindhoven Airport exceeded 6.9 million. This surpassed the previous record set in 2023.

The airport is continuing work to expand its terminal, which is currently too small for the number of passengers using it. The terminal was originally built to serve a maximum of 5 million passengers per year. The renovated terminal is scheduled for completion in July 2027.

Runway renovation is also planned for the period between February 1 and July 19 next year. During this period, the Defence runway, which is shared with Eindhoven Airport, will be closed. As a result, airlines will temporarily divert flights to other airports.
