The Eindhoven municipality congratulated PSV on winning the national league title and announced that the official celebrations will take place this Tuesday at the Stadhuisplein. PSV wins the title for the 27 th time.
As a result of the festivities, the Stadhuisplein will be closed to all cars and public transport throughout the day. An event area will also be set up at the Markt ( central square). If these two locations reach capacity, the municipality will open additional viewing areas at the 18 Septemberplein, Catharinaplein, Stationsplein, and the Oude Stadsgracht. Large screens will be installed at every location so fans can follow the event.
The stage programme at the Stadhuisplein is scheduled to begin at 13:30. From 15:00, the PSV players will travel through the city on a traditional open-top trailer, known as a platte kar. This parade will start at the Philips Stadium. The celebration will conclude with the team appearing on the city hall balcony in the late afternoon. All festivities will end, and the squares will close by 19:00.
The Inwonersplein, the municipal office used for practical services such as driving licence applications, will remain closed on Tuesday due to the celebrations.
