The first Dutch passengers from the cruise ship Hondius have been brought ashore, according to observations by ANP at the scene in Granadilla de Abona. Earlier, all Spanish passengers had already disembarked. They were transported by bus to Tenerife South Airport, the Spanish Ministry of Health said.
In addition to Dutch nationals, passengers of other nationalities are also expected to board the repatriation flight. Although the exact number remains unclear, Health Minister Mónica GarcÃa said earlier that passengers from Germany, Belgium and Greece, among others, would be on the Dutch aircraft. Part of the ship’s crew is also expected to fly out.
It is still unclear when the Dutch repatriation flight will depart. However, the aircraft has already arrived in Tenerife.
