Funda is preparing a major update to its platform. The update will give home sellers a more active role in how their properties are listed. The website will also introduce new tools that will make it easier for buyers to browse homes.
Starting in September, Funda will launch three new packages for sellers, priced between €279 and €649. Until now, Funda’s pricing was not publicly visible to individual homeowners.
According to a spokesperson, the new structure gives sellers more insight and control. The platform says it is responding to a growing desire among homeowners to understand exactly what they are paying for. From September, sellers can also choose to pay Funda directly, although real estate agents will still be responsible for publishing the listing.
The packages include several new features. One is a virtual stylist, which lets house hunters view a property in different interior styles based on existing photos. Users will also be able to scroll through photos directly in the search results, and the map view will be updated to show asking prices more clearly.
