Code orange in Brabant, Zeeland, and South Holland due to thunderstorms

DE BILT (ANP) – The KNMI has extended the orange alert due to thunderstorms. The warning was already in effect in Limburg; Zeeland, Brabant, and South Holland have now been added. A yellow alert applies to the rest of the country.

The KNMI warns that there is a local risk of disruption and damage caused by rain, strong wind gusts, large hailstones, and lightning. Wind gusts in the south could reach around 90 kilometres per hour. The orange alert will last until later this evening.
