International residents (from outside the EU) are also eligible to vote in the municipal elections if they have lived in the Netherlands continuously for five years and are registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP) in Eindhoven by February 2, 2026. For other municipalities, please contact the city municipality.
Eindhoven residents
If you haven’t received a voter’s card (stempas), you can request one until 12:00 pm, Tuesday, 17 March, at the Citizens’ Square counter (inwonersplein) at Stadhuisplein 1A.
Practical information for applying for the voter’s card:
- This is possible during regular opening hours.
- You can just walk in without an appointment.
- Don’t forget to bring your driver’s license, passport, or identity card.
- You will receive the voting card immediately.
