Code yellow for northern coastal area in the evening due to wind gusts

The KNMI warns of strong wind gusts in the northern coastal area this evening. The yellow alert covers North Holland, Flevoland, Friesland, and Groningen from 7:00 PM until midnight.

Northwest winds may reach speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour. The weather institute says the conditions could disrupt traffic and outdoor activities. The wind will ease later in the night.
