Keukenhof again attracted more than 1.4 million visitors during its 2026 opening period, matching the turnout of the past three years. Most visitors came from the Netherlands, followed by Germany, the United States, France, and Great Britain. The average visitor age was 48.
The organisation says this year’s main innovation was the opening of an orchid show in the renovated Juliana Pavilion. It also introduced a renewed visual identity, including a new logo on the entrance building and new flags.
Keukenhof operates year‑round with fifty permanent employees. During the opening period, 2,000 people worked in and around the park. Director Sandra Bechtholt says she looks back on “a wonderful season”.
