KLM will resume flights between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv from 25 August, ending a six-month suspension of the service. The airline regularly adjusts its network based on commercial and operational requirements. Israeli carriers such as El Al and Arkia maintained flights between Schiphol and Tel Aviv during this period.
The resumed flights will include a technical stopover in Larnaca, Cyprus. Cabin crew and pilots will overnight in Larnaca rather than Tel Aviv for safety reasons.
Meanwhile, KLM recently extended the suspension of services to several other destinations across the region. Flights to Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam remain canceled until at least 24 October. The airline cited ongoing security concerns relating to the conflict involving Iran as the reason for avoiding those airspaces.
