The NPO will cut its executive boards from six to five and reduce its directors from seven to five. The public broadcasting umbrella organisation announced this final step of its reorganisation on Monday on its own website.
Eleven employees will leave during this phase. With their departure, the NPO reaches its target of removing 80 FTEs, a goal it set in September.
Three directors have chosen to step down. The interim role of a fourth director will also end. The organisation will recruit two new directors for the revised structure, which results in two fewer director positions overall.
The Works Council will review the plans and provide advice. The NPO aims to finish the restructuring in the autumn, so the new organisation can start on 1 January 2027.
