No trains will run between Breda and Tilburg from 28 July to 8 August due to track maintenance work by ProRail. NS will operate replacement bus services and is warning passengers to expect longer journey times.
The disruption will begin shortly after Tilburg’s annual fair, one of the city’s busiest events of the year. The fair starts this Friday and runs until 27 July.
Passengers travelling between Rotterdam and Eindhoven during the maintenance period are advised to take a diversion via Utrecht and Den Bosch.
The works form part of a wider programme of railway maintenance in the south of the Netherlands this summer. ProRail is also carrying out work between Eindhoven and Venlo. As a result, no trains are currently running between Eindhoven Centraal and Horst-Sevenum.
