Nearly 4,000 registered participants have cancelled their entry for this year’s Nijmegen Four Days Marches, leaving more than 11,000 people still on the waiting list. Interest in the event continues to exceed capacity, the organisation says. The Vierdaagse will take place from 21 to 24 July, with over 45,000 walkers expected.

Substantially higher sentence on appeal in sex abuse case involving former Moam director
The Amsterdam Court of Appeal has sentenced former Moam director Martijn N. to three and a half years in prison for sexual offences involving young men and minors. The case surfaced after media reports in 2021 prompted dozens of men to come forward. The court found several offences proven and described N.’s behaviour as dominant, intimidating, and harmful.
