Temperatures will drop significantly after sunset on Sunday, though conditions are expected to remain dry for King’s Night. Monday, King’s Day, will begin with sunny and cool weather, followed by significant temperature differences across the country in the afternoon. Later in the day, cloud cover will increase with occasional showers expected, according to the weather agency Weeronline.
The agency advises those celebrating to bring an extra coat or jumper for the night ahead. Temperatures in the central and southern regions will fall to between 3 and 6 degrees, while parts of the north may experience a light frost.
Monday morning will start just a few degrees above zero in many areas. During the day, temperatures will reach 11 degrees in the north, while the south could see highs of 19 degrees locally. Weeronline expects very little wind. Cloud cover will increase later in the day, particularly in the north and along the coast, where some rain may fall.
