The Netherlands is expected to experience warmer, drier weather than usual over the next four weeks. According to the weather service Weeronline, the likelihood of official summer days, where temperatures reach at least 25°C, is on the rise.
The unsettled weather experienced recently will continue into next week, with rain showers moving across the country daily. However, temperatures will begin to rise gradually, with the mercury expected to reach 20°C on Wednesday. From Thursday, conditions should become more stable, bringing a prolonged dry spell with plenty of sunshine.
Weeronline noted that while there is still considerable uncertainty regarding the final week of May, the current outlook points to drier and warmer-than-average conditions. Maximum temperatures between 18°C and 21°C are typical for the end of May, meaning that any increase above this range will bring pleasant conditions, likely accompanied by frequent sunshine.
This trend is set to continue into June, which is also forecast to start drier and warmer than usual. Temperatures during the first part of the month are expected to stay consistently above 20°C, with the potential to exceed 25°C.
